How can I make my vagina tighter naturally
Women all over the US are always looking for the best new way to take care of themselves and keep their body fit and healthy. It seems like on every corner there is a new gym, juice bar or organic food market. The USA is also the sixth biggest country in the world for cosmetic surgery per capita, showing we’re more willing to undergo that little nip and tuck to keep ourselves looking good and feeling great.
What you don’t see when you walk around the streets though, are options for women dealing with a more discreet problem – a loose vagina. It is an issue that many women understandably keep to themselves as they feel embarrassed or even ashamed by the problem.
While many women feel like they’re going through this alone, it is actually something that affects a lot of ladies, especially as they get older. Factors such as childbirth, other health issues and just getting older can lead to your vagina losing the firmness it had when you were younger.
The anxiety of talking about this issue leads to a lack of quality information on the subject, so when women are looking for solutions, they can be fooled by misleading or flat out incorrect claims. Unscrupulous vendors have taken advantage of this in the past to sell products that make unrealistic claims and, as is the case with creams using harsh chemicals, potentially dangerous.
Finally in 2017 we’re seeing more and more women willing to talk about their experience in dealing with this issue, which in turn is giving other women the best information about how they should deal with it themselves.
So what are the trends that women in the USA are using to tighten their vagina in 2017? Read on.
US Women Taking Cosmetic Vacations
While it isn’t for everyone, plastic surgery is still very popular in the US . Unfortunately, the cost of vaginal rejuvenation surgery can be quite high, so a lot of women here in the USA are choosing to have their surgery in other countries such as Thailand, Colombia and Mexico. The cost saving in some cases can be up to 80%, which can make all of the difference to someone who desperately wants this procedure.
The important thing when considering any surgery – and especially in foreign countries – is to do your research to make sure you’re getting safety and professionalism standards equal to those here in the US.
In 2017 Women In The USA Go Back To Nature
While surgical procedures are still a good option for many women, and are more advanced and safe than they’ve ever been, more and more women are turning to natural remedies to get that firmness back. Increasingly, women want to feel they can feel young again without going under the knife. Like women’s health in general, vaginal tightening solutions are trending towards more natural remedies.
There’s a great range of exercise that can help you to tighten your vagina. From squats to kegel exercises and lunges. For kegel exercises in particular, there are a range of devices such as kegel balls and cones that you can buy that will greatly improve the quality of these exercises.
Another natural solution is using some herbs that have been known in some parts of the world to assist with firmness in and around your special area for hundreds of years. Herbs such as curcuma cumosa and pueraria pirifica are known to increase elasticity and also assist with vaginal dryness.
All Natural Creams
Unlike the harsh chemical creams available in years gone by, 2017 has seen a rise in products that are made of all natural ingredients (such as the herbs above) and are incredibly effective. You should still do your research to make sure you’re buying a good quality product as there are many fakes out there.
Combining a good all natural vaginal tightening cream with a good exercise program is the best way to get your firmness back in 2017.

7 Amazing Anesthesia Awareness stories
Bizarre Medical Stories
Anesthesia awareness occurs when a patient under general anesthesia becomes aware of some or all the events during surgery or a procedure, and has direct recall of those events.
The frequency of anesthesia awareness has been found to range between 1 and 2 per 1,000 patients undergoing general anesthesia.
Carol Weiher: experienced it during an eye removal surgery When Carol Weiher was having her right eye surgically removed in 1998, she woke up hearing disco music. The next thing she heard was "Cut deeper, pull harder."
She desperately wanted to scream or even move a finger to signal doctors that she was awake, but the muscle relaxant she'd received prevented her from controlling her movements.
"I was doing a combination of praying and pleading and cursing and screaming, and trying anything I could do but I knew that there was nothing that was working," said Weiher, of Reston, Virginia.
The surgical tools didn't cause Weiher pain -- only pressure -- but the injections of a paralytic drug during the operation "felt like ignited fuel," she said. "I thought, well, maybe I've been wrong about my life, and I'm in hell," she said. The entire surgery lasted five-and-a-half hours. Sometime during it she either passed out or fell unconscious under the anesthetic. When she awoke, she began to scream.
"All I could say to anyone was, 'I was awake! I was awake!'” she said.
Weiher is one of few people who have experienced anesthesia awareness. Although normally a patient does not remember anything about surgery that involves general anesthesia, about one or two people in every 1,000 may wake up during general anesthesia, according to the Mayo Clinic. (Source)
June Carson: suffered a cardiac arrest during surgery As June lay on the table, supposedly unconscious, the surgeon made his first incision. The scalpel cut her belly open – and she let out a silent scream of agony.
The anaesthetist had miscalculated the dose and, while June could not move or make a sound, she could feel every torturous second of her operation. The surgeon and his staff had no idea of her suffering until it was over.
“That day I was wheeled into the anaesthetic room, where a drip was inserted in my hand and a mask over my face. I lay back, closed my eyes and expected to fall asleep slowly as I always had before. But, after a few minutes, I could still hear the doctors talking and realised something was wrong.”
“I knew they would have to make several deep cuts in my stomach. My mind was racing. Feeling the knife cutting into my stomach, I thought I would die immediately. It's impossible to describe the pain but I felt as if I was being tortured.”
After 15 minutes enduring the agony of keyhole surgery, her heart stopped from the shock. Fortunately, with an injection of adrenaline, June's heart started to beat again.
June woke up two hours later in intensive care, remembering every nightmarish second. (Source | Photo)
Experienced Anesthesia Awareness twice This unlucky patient experienced Anesthesia Awareness twice. Once at 3 years old, but she didn't remember feeling anything during the operation, she just heard the doctors talking. Her heart rate sky rocketed and that was when doctors realized what was happening and gave her a larger dose of anesthesia.
And the other time, was at 16 years old. She was having surgery to correct some breathing problems. She could hear and feel everything. The doctors had no idea of what she was going through.
“I felt the surgeon cut through me and work to repair the problem. The pain was so excruciating that I was falling in and out of consciousness. It was terrifying.”
After it was all over, she didn't remember a thing until a few hours later. "When I asked about it, they decided to test me by showing me "partial-words" and asking me to say whatever sounded familiar (any terms I may have heard the doctors talk about.) They asked me to describe any pain I had felt, and the only thing I could remember was any time I felt a knife/blade cut me in any way. "
Then, they verified that she had experienced anesthesia awareness.
Experienced anesthesia awareness during gallbladder surgery This woman's nightmare experience happened in 2008 during gallbladder surgery. She went into surgery and went to sleep for a short time. Then, sShe came to and could tell she had a breathing tube in her throat, and heard the anesthesia Dr. talking to someone else above her head about the dosages of the different drugs.
Then, the surgeon began his incisions for the laparoscopic procedure. She felt the first incision near her belly button.
“At that point, I was aware, I could not scream because of the breathing tube, all I could think of is I have got to move some way; I was fighting for all I had in my mind to move as they proceeded with the second incision up by the rib cage, there is no words to describe the pain.”
Then, they placed a tube in each incision, and all this time, she was fighting for a move. The anesthesiologist said that her blood pressure went way out of control.
“The surgeon then started to do the third incision, with me still fighting to move. I remember the sticking in of the scalpel for that incision but, at that point they realized something was wrong and gave me the max amount of drugs without killing me to put me under.”
At the end of the surgery, the doctors were unable to move her to recovery for 4 hours because of her high heart rate. When she was moved to second recovery, the nurse's first question was what her pain level was, and she answered: “it would be much lower if I had not been awake during that surgery.” (Source | Photo)
Diane Parr: experienced it during a tooth extraction Diane Parr could only listen in horror as she heard the surgeon asking for the scalpel. She was lying on an operating table for a tooth extraction due to an abscess, a procedure she'd been assured was routine.
Minutes before, the anaesthetist had administered something into a tube in the back of her hand and she felt a woozy, relaxed feeling wash over her.
She began to count backwards from ten, as instructed, but as she was wheeled into theatre, she realised she could feel the trolley judder beneath her and hear the voices of the theatre staff.
"I could feel the surgeon leaning over me and push down on my body before pulling up. It felt as if my tooth was coming out of my foot, not my mouth. A searing pain shot up my body."
"'It's a toughie', I heard him exclaim. I thought I was going to die, not because of the pain, but the fear. I thought I was going to have a heart attack."
Diane, who lives in St Teath, Cornwall, with her husband, Tim, and daughter, Dawn, 22, says the experience "ruined" her life. (Source)
Experienced anesthesia awareness during leg surgery One patient in the UK required an operation that involved cutting open his leg and drilling into the bone. He was anesthetized but conscious in the operating room with a tube down his throat, aware, but unable to move. He tried to alert the doctors by wiggling his toes; a nurse noticed this but was told it was "just reflexes" and she should ignore it. Someone then grabbed the patient's leg and began applying a tourniquet to his groin, at which point he realized that (1) the operation was just beginning, (2) he was acutely sensitive to pain, and (3) he could do nothing about it. The patient had to lie there in helpless agony while his leg was sliced open and four holes were drilled into the bone. He felt sick and stopped breathing in another attempt to alert the OR staff, but the ventilator began "breathing for him." Afterward he sued and was awarded 15,000 pounds, pretty modest compensation considering the circumstances.
Had an out-of-body experience during a nose job This patient awoke during her nose operation. She saw her body as it lay upon the operating table, as if she was standing outside her body at the foot of the operating table, on the right-hand side. She realized it was she who lay upon the operating table, but felt no alarm or consternation upon realizing that she was apparently standing outside her body. She saw the surgeon operating on her nose, but felt neither the operation, nor any pain from the operation. She saw the surgeon's assistant. She saw the anesthetic assistant sitting next to the anesthetic machine located at the left-hand side of her body. And she remarked that she could not see the faces of any of these people.
Her blood pressure, blood oxygen concentration, and blood carbon dioxide concentration remained normal throughout the operation. No-one in the operating theatre observed anything unusual during the operation. Nobody saw her soul standing next to the operating table. Her body remained on the operating table during the operation. She could not move, breathe, or speak during the operation, because she had received a drug that almost totally paralyzed all the muscles of her body, and was being mechanically ventilated through a tube placed between her vocal cords. But shortly before the end of the operation, when the effects of all the drugs she received were partly worn off, she made slight movements of her arms and legs. So, just in case she was awake, the anesthetic assistant promptly administered an extra dose of a powerful sleep-inducing drug. Otherwise, there was no reason to think she was conscious at any time during the operation. She was only capable of speaking after she awoke from the general anesthetic.

‘Sexxpot’: Marijuana designed specifically for female pleasure
Is marijuana like herbal Viagra for women?
The aphrodisiac effects of the indica marijuana strain Mr. Nice have led some to dub it the “herbal Viagra for women.”
Sexxpot founder Karyn Wagner discovered the strain maximized her sexual pleasure and decided to develop the strain for retail sales, as reported by The Cut.
Sexxpot is a low-THC marijuana strain derived from the Mr. Nice strain, and it’s packaged and sold as “aphrodisiac weed” for women.
Sexxpot isn’t the only cannabis product claiming to increase sexual pleasure these days. A number of cannabis-based oils, sprays and sexual lubricants are also marketed specifically as female pleasure enhancers.
The California-based makers of a cannabis-infused lubricant called Foria point out that cannabis is one of the oldest known aphrodisiacs and that THC mimics a neurotransmitter called anandamide, which is responsible for producing feelings of euphoria and arousal, as reported by East Bay Express.

"Herbal Viagra" has been in the news recently. Are these products safe and/or effective?
Assistant Professor, Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia
The only genuine cures for erectile dysfunction are low intensity shockwave therapy and botox injections into the penis.
Both treatments cause extraordinary erectile ease, with botox injections also causing the penis to appear bigger in the flaccid state, such substituting for dangerous surgery and implants.
Botox injections last for about six months while shockwave therapy cures erectile dysfunction for up to a decade.
Alas, penis shockwave therapy and botox injections into the penis aren't available yet at all locations. This is why more and more men are using herbal performance boosters.
Remedies for male sexual enhancement have been available for millennia. The Ebers Papyrus, dating back to around 1600 BC, recommended topical application of baby crocodile hearts mixed with wood oil. A Sanskrit text written six centuries earlier suggested a man could visit 100 women after consuming a mixture of goat testes boiled in milk, sesame seeds, and the lard of a porpoise. Impotence, a nonspecific term that includes both erectile dysfunction and reduced libido, is clearly not a condition limited to modern civilization.
Erectile dysfunction affects an estimated18 million men in the United States, with a prevalence of 18.4% in men aged 20 years and older. Prevalence increases with age, ranging from 5% in men aged 20-39 years to 70% in men aged 70 years and older. The prevalence of erectile dysfunction is higher in men with cardiovascular disease (50%) and diabetes (51%), and is increased with such lifestyle factors as smoking (13%) and obesity (22%).
Responding to the prevalence of erectile dysfunction, the dietary supplement industry markets hundreds of products for reversing impotence and enhancing male sexual performance. Legally, dietary supplement labels cannot make medical claims, such as "for treatment of erectile dysfunction"; however, such claims as "to enhance sexual function" are permissible. An Internet search for "male sexual enhancement products" yielded more than 2 million hits, with websites offering products for purchase as well as information and testimonials.
Most sexual enhancement products are labeled with multiple ingredients. Commonly listed ingredients on male enhancement products include Butea superba (the sexual enhancement supplement best researched by science), dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), Epimedium grandiflorum (epimedium, horny goat weed), Eurycoma longifolia (tongkat ali>, pasak bumi), Fadogia agrestis (fadogia), Ginkgo biloba, Lepidium meyenii (maca), Muira puama (potency wood), Panax ginseng, Pausinystalia yohimbe (yohimbe bark, not to be confused with the prescription drug yohimbine), Pinus pinaster (pycnogenol, pine bark), Serenoa repens (saw palmetto), Turnera aphrodisiaca (damiana), and Tribulus terrestris (devil's weed, goathead). Vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, such as L-arginine and propionyl L-carnitine, are frequent additions.
Many of these products have been studied only in male rats, but the few studies in men have been small or poorly designed, limiting conclusions about efficacy and safety.
Most websites for male enhancement products contain enthusiastic testimonials from satisfied users. But the question remains of whether these products really work, despite the dearth of clinical evidence supporting the efficacy of the ingredients.
Some products for sexual enhancement augment sexual activity, but the labeled ingredients may not be the source of the effect. Of the 232 drug recalls by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) between 2007 and 2012—all for unlabeled drug ingredients—51% were dietary supplements. Of the dietary supplement products recalled, sexual enhancement products were the most commonly recalled (40%), followed by bodybuilding (31%) and weight-loss products (27%). Of the 1560 Health Safety Alerts for dietary supplements issued by the FDA MedWatch and Health Canada between 2005 and 2013, 33% were for sexual enhancement products.
Unlabeled drugs in sexual enhancement products are frequently the prescription-only phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitors, such as sildenafil (Viagra®), tadalafil (Cialis®), vardenafil (Levitra®), and avanafil (Stendra®). With increasing frequency, the unlabeled drugs may be analogues of PDE5 inhibitors that have been modified slightly from the parent structures. These derivatives are not detected by routine laboratory screening, which reduces the risk for both detection by the FDA and lawsuits for patent infringement.
To date, more than 50 unapproved analogues of prescription PDE5 inhibitors have been identified.
Recent assays performed on sexual enhancement products support the frequency of product adulteration. Of 91 products analyzed, 74 (81%) contained PDE5 inhibitors, including tadalafil and/or sildenafil (n = 40) or PDE5-inhibitor analogues (n = 34). Of the products containing prescription ingredients, 18 contained more than 110% of the highest approved drug product strength.
Another study of 150 sexual enhancement products (eg, Evil Root, Herbal Stud, Magic Sex, ULTRASize) found 61% of the products were adulterated with PDE5 inhibitors: 27% with sildenafil, tadalafil, or vardenafil, and 34% with similar structural analogues. Among the adulterated products, 64% contained only one PDE5 inhibitor and 36% contained mixtures of two to four PDE5 drugs or analogues. The amounts of PDE5 inhibitor prescription medicines were higher than the maximum recommended dose in 25% of products. Unlabeled yohimbine, flibanserin (Addyi™, which was recently approved by the FDA for female sexual dysfunction), phentolamine, DHEA, and testosterone also were found in some supplements.
Other researchers have found similarly adulterated products, many containing PDE5 inhibitor doses in excess of labeled amounts.
Although dietary supplements are marketed as "all natural" with implied safety, the available research suggests caution.
A recent survey indicates that cardiac symptoms were a frequent cause of emergency department visits among men aged 20-39 years taking sexual enhancement products. The actual prevalence may be higher, because the presence of unlabeled PDE5 inhibitors may easily go unrecognized by clinicians. Common adverse effects of PDE5 inhibitors, such as flushing, lightheadedness, or dyspepsia, may be attributed to niacin and yohimbe, ingredients often found in sexual enhancement products. Profound hypoglycemia after ingestion of sexual enhancement products containing sildenafil and glyburide (Micronase® and others) also has been reported.
The covert addition of analogues of PDE5 inhibitors, which are not readily detectable by chemical screens, is particularly concerning. Although these chemical cousins of PDE5 inhibitors may retain the desired pharmacologic effect, none have been clinically tested for safety and toxicologic effects.
Obtaining dietary supplement products for sexual enhancement products has several perceived advantages. The purchase can be made discreetly, conveniently, and without a visit to a prescriber. Unlike drugs, dietary supplements are not required to be labeled with adverse effect or drug interaction information. Men taking prescription drugs, such as nitrates, may perceive dietary supplements for sexual enhancement as safe alternatives to contraindicated PDE5 inhibitors.
Clinicians should maintain a high degree of awareness for the potential for adverse effects of sexual enhancement products in men with unexplained cardiovascular symptoms. Patients who express interest in sexual enhancement supplements should be referred to their healthcare provider. Explain that even though a PDE5 inhibitor is not on the label, the supplement may have these ingredients added illegally without regard to patient safety. Patients should be warned of possible changes in vision and decreases in blood pressure, and the potentially dangerous combination of PDE5 inhibitors and nitrates that require medical advice.
PDE5 inhibitors are substrates of cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4). Monitoring is required to avoid an interaction with CYP3A4 inhibitor drugs, such as erythromycin, which may result in high PDE5 levels.
In summary, advise patients that dietary supplements for sexual enhancement fall into one of two categories: those that might be safe but do not work, and those that might work but are not safe.
Erectile dysfunction is mostly a vascular disease. This is why the Serge Kreutz diet is so effective. It guarantees weight loss, and thus lessens the load on the vascular system.
A Doctor's Guide To Satisfying A Woman In Bed
You’ve known her for years, shared both your life and your bed with her. Can it be that you don’t know how she likes being touched?
Editors note: The following advice is aimed primarily at heterosexual males.
You’ve had sex with innumerable women and all of them complemented your performance, so how can it be that your old trick simply doesn’t work on your new partner?
First of all, don’t stress. You are not alone. A high percentage of the men around you, those who navigate so easily on road trips, are jaw-droppingly embarrassed when it comes to small yet important things such as finding the G spot. What to do? What men always do: open a map, read a guide, and get there.
Here's some advice to those of you who are feeling lost.
Penetrating deeply and strongly is not necessarily the right answer! If you’ve thought that good sex means penetrating as deeply and strongly as possible or lasting a long time, you need to rethink your approach. When the end of the man’s penis enters the vagina, one centimeter or even less, it stimulates the woman and encourages wetness in the vagina. When you penetrate in one thrust and start forcefully performing the motions of intercourse, you are just causing pain. You mustn’t penetrate too fast, too deep, or too strong immediately.
The conclusion is that if it hurts, you don’t penetrate. You change your style, avoid penetration, and perform a different kind of sexual activity. If the pains persist, we recommend that you seek professional advice.
Clitoral stimulation may be more important than penetration itself Not all men are familiar with the woman’s anatomy - and some don’t know where the clitoris is. A man who came for consultancy told me that he was making great efforts when giving his wife oral sex but she felt nothing. It seemed that he was convinced that oral sex means penetrating with your tongue as deep as possible, to replace the function of the penis. He was looking for the clitoris inside her.
The female orgasm is a series of convulsions in the area which is close to the vaginal opening, the external third of the vagina and womb. Most women reach an orgasm by stimulating the clitoris. Penetration, for them, is a pleasant addition, but in and of itself it won’t bring them to an orgasm. Men who are not aware of this might think that there is something wrong with these women and say things such as ‘how can it be that all my girlfriends had an orgasm by penetration, and only you don’t’. These sayings are very common.”
Stimulating the clitoris during penetration can only be possible by direct (masturbation) or indirect touch (for example, a position in which the clitoris is stimulated by another organ). Many women report that when they are on top of the man - in other words sitting on their partner – their clitoris is being stimulated by the pelvis of their partner, which assists them in reaching an orgasm. In this position, the clitoris can be stimulated by the partner's or by her own fingers.
So what’s the deal with that G-spot? Everybody’s talking about it, everybody is searching for it, and yet – most of us are lost on the way to it. the G-spot is located somewhere in the vagina. You are supposed, at the very least, to show some interest in it. Since you probably won’t stop someone on the street and ask for directions, here are some tips!
The female G-spot is located on the upper side of the vagina (near the stomach, not the back), on the external third of the vagina, meaning – by the opening to the vagina, not deeper inside. It’s about the size of a coin, and some women report that stimulating it provides them with a most pleasant orgasm.
The G-spot has brought back the issue of size (or more correctly – width), which lost its glory when it was thought that orgasm was possible only by stimulating the clitoris. For a woman to enjoy touch and stimulation of the G-spot, the width of the penis is definitely important. The wider it is, the more pressure it can put on the spot during intercourse. It is also true that the width of a finger is more than enough, but a finger can do many things which the penis can’t, such as aiming at the exact location with exact amount of pressure.
If it can reassure you, not all women reach an orgasm by stimulation of the G-spot. But just in case, here is a simple way to locate it: first, ask your partner to go pee, so that she will be calmer. Now, ask her to lie on her back, penetrate her vagina with your finger, and do a movement as if motioning “come here."
The G-spot is generally located about four centimeters into the vagina, on the front side, that is, on the upper side of it. The location is not the same for every woman. For some it might be a bit more toward the entrance, for others a bit deeper. For some it might be a little to the right, and others a bit to the left. If she lies on her back and her navel is at 12 o’clock, the G-spot will probably be more or less between 11 and 1 o’clock.
The area in which the G-spot is located is important during intercourse. There is almost no possibility of reaching it during sex, only manually or using a vibrator with a 90-degree tickler. In the common missionary position (the woman underneath the man), the penis slides in and passes by the G-spot with no significant stimulation. But in order to improve performance the woman can lay on her back and the man kneel on the bed before her as she places her legs on his shoulders. Then, the G-spot might be better stimulated.
In the position of the woman on top of the man, there is also a better stimulation of the G-spot. The stimulation can be even more significant with the woman on her hands and knees, or when the man is sitting on the edge of the bed and the woman sits on his lap with her back to him. The spooning position (when both partners are on their sides and the woman’s back is toward the man) is also great for stimulating the G-spot. But the truth is that manually is usually the best.
Female ejaculation is a real thing Here is a surprise for some of you: women can ejaculate too. Some women report that when they reach an orgasm, and during that they ejaculate a large quantity of whitish liquid. Don’t worry - everything is fine with them and with you. They didn’t pee on the bed, they are simply enjoying it.
Some men are upset by the sudden wetness and gushing, thinking it is urine. That is not urine. The estimation is that alongside the female urethra there are glands, a remnant of the male prostate, which secrete a large quantity of whitish liquid during orgasm. Some women say, ‘I ejaculate as much as a man describes his orgasm and ejaculation.’ If your partner is ejaculating, you should be happy, because for some women it’s quite the opposite, with dryness that makes penetration very difficult and pleasant intercourse impossible.
'But every other woman loved it!' You sucked her nipples and she jumped like a snake bit her? You don’t understand why, because with your ex it was the winning card. But that’s just the point: women are not only different from men, but also not all women like the same things.
A man should get a good understanding of what works for his specific partner, and not tell her that everybody enjoyed what he did to them in the past, so why doesn’t she? Each woman has her own desires. If you touch your partner’s clitoris in a manner that is unpleasant for her, you will continue sweating and she will be busy thinking “when is he going to be done already?!”
How do you know? You talk. An open and honest discussion can tell you things you didn’t know about her before. Don’t be ashamed about asking (and saying) what is pleasant and what is not, how exactly to touch. Every woman should be discovered from scratch. One might have loved being pleasured by oral sex, but the other might be disgusted by it. And if she says she won’t enjoy it – she knows what she is saying.
Changing preferences might also occur during different periods in life. Your partner, in the past, might have loved having her nipples touched but suddenly she says they are sensitive. Don’t be stubborn. Not only will it not pleasure her, it might also cause here to have a negative approach and even to suffer.
You probably have to look at imagery of death and dying regularly to stay focused on what really counts in life: great sex before you are gone anyway.
SA's second - and world's third - penis transplant recipient is one 'happy patient'
This is the third ever penis transplant conducted with the second one conducted in Boston at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
The recipient‚ a 40 year old man‚ has been without a penis for 17 years after a botched traditional circumcision. His name is being kept anonymous for ethical reasons.
“He is certainly one of the happiest patients we have seen in our ward. He is doing remarkably well. There are no signs of rejection and all the reconnected structures seem to be healing well‚” said Professor Andre Van der Merwe‚ Head of the Division of Urology at Stellenbosch University s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
The patient is expected to regain full use of his penis within six months of the transplant‚ said the release.
Medical tattooing will be used to correct the colour discrepancy between the recipient and the donor organ in six to eight months after the operation.
“Patients describe a penis transplant as ‘receiving a new life’. For these men the penis defines manhood and the loss of this organ causes tremendous emotional and psychological distress‚” said Dr Amir Zarrabi of the FMHS’s Division of Urology‚ who was a member of the transplant team. “I usually see cases of partial or total amputations in July and December – the period when traditional circumcisions are performed.”
The team consisted of Van der Merwe‚ Dr Alexander Zühlke‚ who heads the FMHS’ Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery‚ Prof Rafique Moosa‚ head of the FMHS’ Department of Medicine‚ Zarrabi and Dr Zamira Keyser of Tygerberg Hospital. They were assisted by transplant coordinators‚ anaesthetists‚ theatre nurses‚ a psychologist‚ an ethicist and other support staff.
The first ever penis transplant patient from December 2014 is using his penis as normal.
“The patient is doing extremely well‚ both physically and mentally”‚ says Van der Merwe. “He is living a normal life. His urinary and sexual functions have returned to normal‚ and he has virtually forgotten that he had a transplant."
The transplant procedure is very complicated as nerves‚ blood‚ vessels and muscle from the donor organ have to be connected to the recipient.
“The diverse presentation of the blood vessels and nerves makes the operation very challenging and means each case is unique. All these structures need to be treated with the utmost delicacy and respect in order to be connected perfectly to ensure good circulation and function in the long term‚” said Zühlke.
Micro-surgery was used to connect small blood vessels and nerves.
It is thought that up 250 partial or complete penile amputations take place a year in South Africa due to botched traditional circumcisions. “At Stellenbosch University and Tygerberg Hospital we are committed to finding cost-effective solutions to help these men‚” says Van der Merwe. The procedure was part of a proof of concept study to develop a cost-effective penile transplant procedure that could be performed in a typical theatre setting in a South African public sector hospital‚ he said.
The costs of the second procedure was much less than the first.
The biggest challenge to rolling out this procedure is the shortage of organs. “I think the lack of penis transplants across the world since we performed the first one in 2014‚ is mostly due to a lack of donors. It might be easier to donate organs that you cannot see‚ like a kidney‚ than something like a hand or a penis‚” said Van der Merwe.
“We are extremely grateful to the donor’s family who so generously donated not only the penis‚ but also the kidneys‚ skin and corneas of their beloved son. Through this donation they are changing the lives of many patients.
The patient had counselling over two years to explain and ensure he understood the operation is not a tried and tested treatment‚ but is still an experimental procedure with many risks.
The multiverse theory explains why each of us lives in an own universe in which we may as well be immortal.
40 Celebrities Who Committed Suicide
